HILTON SCREENERS

Hilton Screeners has been a trusted screen-printing shop in Michigan for over 40 years. Known for outfitting local businesses, schools, and events with custom apparel, their reputation was solid — but their online presence wasn’t keeping up.

Their website didn’t reflect the type of customers they wanted to attract: groups, teams, and organizations looking to order together. Instead, they were pulling in small, one-off projects. These jobs often stretched their resources, leading to slower turnaround times and frustrated customers. Negative reviews began to pile up, overshadowing their decades-long track record of quality work.

They needed a refresh that would do two things:

Showcase their experience and reliability.

Target the right kind of customer — large groups who wanted a simple, professional ordering process.

Website & Workflow Overhaul

I was brought in as an external designer to help reimagine Hilton’s online presence and streamline their systems. The first step was rebuilding their website to clearly communicate who they serve and how they work. I added:

A “How it Works” page that laid out the process in simple steps.

A “What We Do” page to highlight services.

A Products showcase to make their capabilities crystal clear.

Behind the scenes, I integrated a review management system that filtered positive and negative feedback. Customers with great experiences were encouraged to leave reviews on Google, while less satisfied customers could provide private feedback for the Hilton team to address directly.

To reduce missed leads and save time, I set up automated workflows through Make and Zapier, along with email automation support in Printavo. These tools helped the team spend less time chasing down orders and more time focusing on production.

Content & Visuals

Consistency was key. I created a new set of custom graphics and infographics to simplify the ordering process for customers:

Visual guides for ordering and online stores.

Instructional email templates for clients.

A fresh set of social media banners to match the new website.

On top of that, I developed a social media content plan with pillars and a posting schedule designed to keep their community engaged and informed.

Results

The changes made a real difference. Hilton Screeners went from a Google rating of 4.2 to 4.6 stars in just one year — doubling their total reviews with 71 new positive ratings. Their reputation for reliability began to shine through again, backed up by a steady stream of social proof.

Internally, the team saved time with automated systems, saw fewer missed leads, and could focus their energy on the kinds of projects they wanted most: group orders that were worth their time and effort.

Results

Hilton Screeners already had four decades of trust behind their name — they just needed the tools and visuals to match. With a sharper website, clear messaging, and smarter systems, they’ve positioned themselves to keep serving their community for decades to come.
